Allygroup is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Employment Lawyers with NV1 security clearance to support a high-profile Australian government client. If you have expertise in Employment Law and Work Health & Safety (WHS), we have multiple opportunities available:
APS6 Employment Lawyer – Contract (Up to 12 months)
EL1 Employment Lawyer – Contract (Up to 12 months)
EL2 Employment Lawyer – 12-month non-ongoing contract
Key Duties
In these roles, you will:
Provide high-quality legal advice on employment law, workplace relations, and WHS matters.
Draft, review, and interpret employment-related documentation, including contracts, policies, and procedures.
Assist with managing complex workplace issues, including disputes, investigations, and compliance matters.
Support government clients in implementing legislative and regulatory frameworks.
Contribute to strategic projects and policy development, ensuring best practice and risk mitigation.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, timely legal solutions.
Our Ideal Candidates
We are looking for professionals who:
Hold NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
Have strong experience in Employment Law and Work Health & Safety within government or similar environments.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex legal issues.
Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Hold a law degree and a current Australian legal practising certificate.
