2026, A Year in Review
Andrew Klein, Partner at Hall & Wilcox, is a leading government employment and workplace relations lawyer. With more than 15 years’ experience advising Commonwealth clients on complex workplace matters involving legal, operational and reputational risk, Andrew brings a unique and deep understanding of the legal and practical challenges facing Commonwealth employers. He will be joined by Allygroup Joint CEO and Chief Legal Officer Rob Brigden, whose career spans private practice, senior government legal roles and executive leadership.
Drawing on decades of experience at the forefront of Commonwealth workplace relations, Andrew and Rob will use this Musings session to reflect on 2026 and discuss a number of significant employment law cases, including a recent decision under the Commonwealth Workplace Protection Orders Act 2025. They will also lift their gaze to the horizon to consider what changes are likely to occur in 2027.
This promises to be a lively and thought-provoking discussion for legal, HR, IR and government professionals, as well as anyone with an interest in employment law.
